Memorial To Robert Simonich

On Friday November 28, 2003, Rob
Simonich, 45 years old, passed away in a tragic auto accident
when returning from a plentiful hunting trip.
Rob was one of the founding members of the club and has remained
an active member for many years. He has contributed greatly to
keeping the club a place in which to learn and have fun. He went
out of his way to introduce our greatest assests, the children,
to the practical use of firearms and firearm safety. He helped to
put on many of our events, such as the annual Three Gun shoot. He
will be sorely missed. I personally enjoyed Rob's good nature at
shooting events. He was always ready to chip in and help
shooters. I remember my first Three gun match. I didn't have an
appropriate rifle so Rob let me share his Rifle and Ammunition.
He refused any payment for ammunition. That is just the kind of
guy he was.. The Last Chance Handgunners Club, board and members,
extends our condolences to all the family and friends whose lives
have been changed forever by this tragic loss. Please let us know
if we can be of any assistance during this sad time. Rob will
never be forgotten
